Established in 1981, Wesworth Electric has provided quality electrical service and maintenance for hundreds of customers in South Florida. Wesworth was founded by Wesley Shreve to service the growing electrical service needs of this region. As our community has grown, Wesworth has been in the forefront for the implementation of new resources and products to the area.

Company History
Wesworth Electric began in the early 80s from a partnership of Wesley Shreve and Bill Butterworth. In 1981, Wesley incorporated WesWorth. Wesley soon after became sole owner of Wesworth Electrical Contractors, Inc. Wesworth provided service work and small sub contracting jobs. In the late eighties, Wesworth grew into speciality services including power factor correction, lighting retrofitting and motor control. By 2004, Wesworth had nearly 2 million in sales and served a diverse group of customers.
In 2004, Wesley Shreve turned the company over to his field supervisor, Nicolas Crespo. Together with his partner, Angel Castro, Wesworth is now Associated Electrical Services, Inc. Nicolas and Angel have steered the Wesworth brand into new areas and have continued Wesley's original vision of customer service.
Warranty
Associated Electrical Services, Inc, d/b/a Wesworth Electric (hereafter “Wesworth”) warrants labor and product to be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty applies to both new original parts and authorized refurbished parts. The length of the Warranty Period may be determined by referring to the warranty period included with this policy statement. The warranty period begins on the date of the installation or as indicated on the invoice.
EXCEPTIONS: This Warranty does not apply if in sole judgment of Wesworth, the product has been consumed, subject to accident, faulty repair, improper adjustment, installation, lubrication, or wiring, neglect, misuse; or is caused by failure of a part not serviced by Wesworth. Also excluded from this warranty are parts subject to normal wear. This Warranty may not cover the labor to repair materials by a manufacturer’s warranty. WESWORTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES arising out of or from the use of Wesworth’s products or services by the buyer, its assignees, employees, agents or customers.
OBLIGATIONS: The obligation of Wesworth under this Warranty is limited to making good by repair or replacement, as Wesworth deems most appropriate. This Warranty does not apply to products or parts where adjustments will correct the alleged defect.

- Parts designated “re-certified,” “re-conditioned,” or “refurbished” – 2 years
