Non Electric Disposal Switches
Even as young kids, we knew that electricity and water don't mix, but today we often reach around appliances to flip a switch with our wet hands every day. The disposal switch in most homes is just an arms reach from the sink, perilously close to water.
The solution? ... a non electrical disposal switch. This push button mechanism mounts on the sink so the disposal button is always easy to reach.
Its safer since (1) the electrical switch is located below the sink near the disposal, (2) the disposal runs only while you push the button, and (3) the switch is close to the sink preventing those frantic reach-arounds when something falls in unexpectedly.
Installation of these switches are easy. Most conversions cost less than $300 installed.
